Staff Now Based in Louisiana, New Mexico, Philadelphia, Nevada
In response to a growing number of production areas outside of Los Angeles and New York, we have added professional staff on the ground in Louisiana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Nevada. We serve Branch members, and the many SAG actors who are working in these states from other areas.
Louisiana and New Mexico both passed film incentives in 2002 which led to a production explosion in those states. Jason Tomlinson, south region executive, was hired in June 2007 and is based in New Orleans to administer Guild contracts and serve our members who have gotten work on over 115 film and television projects in the last two years. Jason comes to us with a background in law and received his juris doctor from Loyola University School of Law.
Tamara Decker relocated from our Denver office to Albuquerque this past October where she serves as west region executive. She works closely with the membership and the production community in New Mexico which had over 30 major studio productions in 2008. Tamara’s credentials include advertising, production and administrative experience.
Local executives in Pennsylvania and Nevada have been re-established to administer the growing number of contracts in those states and enhance work opportunities for the thousands of members who reside in each Branch. North Region Executive Rick McKiddy began his employment in October and is located in Philadelphia. Steve Clinton, Nevada Branch executive director, was hired in February and is based in Las Vegas. Both Rick and Steve have extensive union backgrounds and bring over 50 years of combined experience with the UAW to the Guild.
