SAG Dare To Be Diverse Screening Of "Hamill" at AFI FEST 2010

SAG Affirmative Action & Diversity will host a Dare To Be Diverse screening of Hamill at AFI FEST 2010. The film, starring Russell Harvard (There Will Be Blood) and directed by newcomer Oren Kaplan, is the true story of deaf UFC fighter Matt Hamill and his journey to win the National Collegiate wrestling title as well as the acceptance of the deaf community and those who see him as different in the hearing world.

A post-screening Q&A will commence with filmmakers discussing their extraordinary five year endeavor to make a film utilizing deaf performers (playing deaf characters) and deaf crew members.
