Everything You Wanted to Know About Low Budget Contracts but Were Afraid to Ask, May 23
Has your friend asked you to be in their next web series? Have you been working on student films? Do you enjoy working with local filmmakers on short and ultra-low budget productions? Are you making your own short, feature or webisode?
All of these require that the production be under a union contract. If you work on these type of productions and want more information on your rights, how to flip a non-union production into a union production, or see what the paperwork looks like, then this is a must-attend event for you.
When: 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 23
(Dinner will be served.)
Where: Kauffher Members Resources Center (KMRC)
1 E. Erie, Suite 660
Chicago, IL 60611
(Park at 10 East Ontario. Enter on the north side of Ontario between Wabash and State, then take a ticket. When you sign in you may purchase a four-hour ticket for $13 cash or $14 Visa, MasterCard or American Express payment. You will need both tickets to exit the parking structure.)
