Earlier this month, SAG-AFTRA mailed all eligible voters a yellow postcard with a PIN number and instructions on how to vote online as part of the ratification process for the 2014 SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting (Network Television Code).

If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to review the information and vote now — it’s easy and can be done quickly online or you can request a paper ballot if you prefer. All votes, whether done online or by paper ballot, must be received by 5 p.m. PST on Jan. 9, 2015.

At its Dec. 8 meeting, the SAG-AFTRA National Board voted overwhelmingly to approve the tentative agreement reached with the four major television broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox), and is recommending members vote to approve it. Among the significant gains are increases in contract minimums over a three-year period, including an 8.7-percent overall wage increase to most program fees, in addition to increased contributions to the health and retirement plans. Find out more details by clicking here.

But none of those gains go into effect if members don’t ratify the agreement. Please find your yellow postcard with voting instructions and vote today at www.ivsballot.com/netcode. If you cannot locate your postcard, you can retrieve your voting PIN number at the same URL address using your SAG-AFTRA member ID number and the last four digits of your social security number.

In unity,

Ken Howard
President

David White
National Executive Director

SAG-AFTRA mailed voting informational postcards Dec. 10, 2014 to approximately 132,000 members as part of the ratification process for the recently negotiated Network Television Code. The referendum requires a vote on the proposed pact, the 2014 SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting (Network Television Code).

At its December 8 meeting, the SAG-AFTRA National Board voted overwhelmingly to approve the tentative agreement reached with the four major television broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox), and is recommending ratification by members.

The postcards instruct members how to vote online or, if they prefer, how to request a paper ballot, and provides them with a personal identification number. All votes, whether done online or by paper ballot, must be received by 5 p.m. PST on Jan. 9, 2015. Tabulation will occur immediately after the deadline.

Members with questions regarding the tentative agreement should email networkcode@sagaftra.org  or call (800) 518-6623.
