On Wednesday, December 12, the WGA Black Writers Committee is hosting Diversity Picketing Day at the Paramount location. Everyone is welcome to join. Remember, it’s our differences that make our guilds strong, so come out to show your support.

On Friday, Dec. 7, the WGA will picket the FremantleMedia headquarters in Burbank. This is the latest action in the Guild’s ongoing efforts to target the international conglomerate to improve substandard working conditions for writers in the entertainment industry’s “reality” TV and game show arena.

Speakers scheduled to appear include: SAG President Alan Rosenberg, WGAW President Patric M. Verrone, writers Aaron Solomon and Kai Bowe and SAG member Alfre Woodard. Mock-rock band Tenacious D. (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) will also perform live. Join us and show your solidarity!
