Los Angeles (February 1, 2007)—Screen Actors Guild today announced that Pamela Greenwalt has been named communications executive director, effective February 26, 2007. Greenwalt comes to the Guild from ULLICO Inc. in Washington D.C. where she was vice president, corporate marketing communications.

Greenwalt will be based at the Guild’s Los Angeles national headquarters and will report to Pamm Fair, deputy national executive director.

“Pamela’s extraordinary background and expertise in labor union marketing communications and strategic planning makes her a valuable addition to our senior staff team,” Fair said. “I know the members of Screen Actors Guild will reap the benefits of Pamela’s amazing skill set, and I look forward to her February arrival.”

“It is a tremendous honor to join the team at Screen Actors Guild, and I look forward to working with the elected leadership and staff to advance the interests of the Guild’s members,” Greenwalt said. “It’s a terrific organization, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Greenwalt’s 20-year career in strategic marketing communications includes posts with top public affairs and advocacy firms. Prior to ULLICO Inc., Greenwalt was senior vice president and director of public affairs with The Kamber Group, Washington D.C., where she led account planning and creative development for the firm’s labor union and public safety practices. Previously, Greenwalt was vice president, media production and placement at Goddard Claussen First Tuesday, Malibu, Calif., where she oversaw film and video production and advertising.
