When: 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 17
Where: Courtyard by Marriott

Chevy Chase, MD 20815
(Near Friendship Heights Metro on the Red Line)
Please join Scott Goodhue of Taylor Royall Casting for a Cold-Reading Workshop at the Courtyard by Marriott (5520 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815) on Sunday, April 17 from 1-3 p.m. This workshop will provide SAG-AFTRA members the opportunity to improve their cold-reading skills as they gain valuable insight about approaching the text and the audition.
Local SAG-AFTRA staff will also be on hand to discuss the new WMA Corporate-Educational/Non-Broadcast Waiver. This brand new waiver is a great organizing tool to help you speak with heretofore “non-union” producers and book jobs within the Washington-Mid Atlantic local. An overview of the waiver can be found here: http://www.sagaftra.org/files/wma_onepageflyer_f1.pdf.
This invitation is being extended to members who have worked under the contract recently and only 40 spots are available for this workshop. If you are interested, please RSVP to Anita Garcia at email@example.com or at (301) 634-4851 and please provide your SAG-AFTRA Member ID. Due to the length of the program and the number of attendees, only a small number of attendees (selected randomly via “lottery”) will get to read for Scott. You are encouraged to bring a recent headshot and resume, as Scott will be accepting these from all attendees.
Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and light fare will be provided.
Important: If you are successfully registered and your plans change, please let us know so that another member may take your spot.
