Background Acting

Please remember:
- All SAG-AFTRA Conservatory workshops are free for members in good standing.
- To attend a workshop, you must register in advance. No walk-ins are allowed.
- To register for a workshop, email anne.rosenblatt@sagaftra.org with your name, phone number, email address and SAG-AFTRA member number.
- If you must cancel, please do so at least two days before the workshop. This allows us to notify those on the wait list that they may attend.
“Background Acting” – presented by Gale Nemec
“This class should be mandatory for every new member,” notes a fellow SAG-AFTRA actor. This workshop will teach you everything you need to know about background acting and will provide you with a complete understanding of your role in the film process. If you have ever wondered what’s going on; what you should do; if you don’t understand the terms; if you are experienced but want to learn more, join us. Some on-camera work, time permitting.
