"Audiobook Narration: The Non-Commercial Side" – presented by Laura Giannarelli
In this workshop, Laura Giannarelli, who has narrated over 800 books for the Library of Congress' Talking Books program, will discuss narration techniques and tips for audio book narration, with a specific focus on non-commercial producers such as the Library of Congress and others who serve a targeted clientele. She will cover such topics as how to handle dialog, the different approaches to take with fiction versus non-fiction, and the value such work (both paid and volunteer) can have as a training opportunity for voice actors to hone their skills to pursue other opportunities.
