Low Budget and “No Budget” Films and Projects:
How You Can Work Union Using Simple, Flexible SAG-AFTRA Agreements
Are you and friends getting together to make short films? Webisodes? Spec TV pilots? Didn’t think you need to be under contract? Well….
This is your chance to ask questions about working in low-budget films, including student films, your best friend’s pet project, your self-produced short film and “no-budget” features. Find out what to expect and how these films differ from studio features or episodic television shows. Learn the basics on filling out timesheets and employment contracts, and we’ll even talk about how to flip a non-union film to a SAG-AFTRA covered project!
