KING-TV Nominated for National News and Documentary Emmy

KING 5 News in Seattle has been nominated for a National News and Documentary Emmy in the Outstanding Regional News Story - Investigative Reporting Category. 
 
KING-TV Reporter and SAG-AFTRA member, Chris Ingalls, is being recognized for his series, “Their Crime, Your Dime.”  The series exposed wrongdoing in the state welfare system and resulted in the creation of a new government fraud unit to fight welfare crimes in Washington.  “Their Crime, Your Dime” has won a number of other awards, including the Peabody award.
 
Winners will be announced and awards will be presented on Tuesday, October 1 in New York City.
