Class Description: Hone your acting skills while participating in a table read of a unisex adaption of Twelve Angry Men by Lucrecia Russo. Dress comfortably. The workshop will begin with basic warm-ups and prep-emotiquettes, i.e., quick emotional turnarounds, laughing, crying, and so on. • Participants will be randomly selected from those who respond, with preference being given to those who have not attended Conservatory events in the past year.
• As a courtesy to members on the waiting list, if you have reserved a space in this workshop and cannot attend, please cancel your reservation by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Failure to do so may result in the inability to attend future workshops.
• There is no charge for this event.
Directions/Parking: Public transportation is available and encouraged. There is limited self-pay street parking and self-pay parking garages in the area.
Lucrecia Russo is a member of SAG-AFTRA, ASCAP and is serving her third year on the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory Committee. Lucrecia majored in the performing arts at Los Angeles and Santa Monica City Colleges. She taught emotional improvisation at the Deslie Cashman School of Drama and The Russ Lewis School of Drama. She’s worn many hats in the entertainment industry including crew, voice talent and modeling, and has headlined in some of the biggest nightclubs in Hollywood. She’s recorded and edited music videos, owned and operated a gorilla theatre, a music studio and a record label. Lucrecia also has a strong background in the agency business, booking talent for films, theatre, television, commercials and music.
This workshop is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing — no guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card (paid through April 30, 2013) for admittance.
