SAG-AFTRA invites all interested members to attend a special educational event presented by SAG-AFTRA University. David Viviano, SAG-AFTRA’s chief economist, will deliver a series of presentations and lectures on the economics of the media business.
The event will include the following modules, each to be followed by a question-and-answer session:
- The economics of winner-take-all labor markets
- The impact of the internet on employment and income in the U.S. media and entertainment business
- How media spending arms races impact the employment and compensation of talent
