Description: Daniel Kitowski, M.S.W., Director of Health Services, Western Region, Actors Fund, will walk you through covered California options and requirements; Provide important information relevant to freelancers and the self-employed; Help you figure out how to get affordable health insurance with the help of tax credits and federal subsidies; Answer any and all questions.

Daniel Kitowski is the Director of Health Services, Western Region at the Actors Fund. Since 2006, Dan has been providing education programs and one-on-one counseling to entertainment professionals looking for health insurance or health care. Dan received his Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. With over 30 years of experience in health care, he has worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as Program Coordinator of their in-patient AIDS program and as a Manager of the Department of Social Work at University of Michigan Health System.
This workshop is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing – no guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome. PLEASE BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD (paid thru October 31, 2013) FOR ADMITTANCE.
