CSA Hosts Open Call with A Focus on Performers with Disabilities
As part of a series of events focusing on casting opportunities for actors who have been historically overlooked in the entertainment industry, Casting Society of America (CSA) Inclusion and Diversity Committee will focus this month on performers with disabilities (PWDs). Performers will be given an opportunity to do a two-page prepared scene of the performers’ choice in front of a panel of CSA casting directors. Please note, the reading will be taped and the reading is NOT for a job opportunity. This is an educational opportunity and a chance for casting directors to meet the PWD community. Please read the directions carefully as they include details about requesting Americans With Disabilities (ADA) accommodations.
This event is hosted by CSA with special thanks to the SAG-AFTRA EEO & Diversity department and members of the SAG-AFTRA Performers with Disabilities Committee.
