SAG-AFTRA Portland Local presents Life on Set 101, a free event featuring industry experts highlighting the basics of working a job – from pre-production to day-of and post-production. As an added BONUS EVENT: Working America will present a hands-on workshop following Life on Set 101 to provide assistance in and information about signing up for health insurance through Cover Oregon.

1 p.m. Pre-Production: An agent, a coach and casting director advise you on what you need to do to get ready to get the gig.
2:15 p.m. On the Day: Union staff and top crew from Grimm let you know what you can expect (and what is expected of you) at the gig.
3:30 p.m. Post-Production: Union staff, an agent and a pay service president fill you in on what you’ll receive in residuals and other forms of pay and how you can leverage this gig to get the next one and build your career!
4:30 p.m. Working America: Sign up for Cover Oregon health insurance! Presentation and hands-on assistance signing up!* You will hear about your options and be able to sign up for personalized help to complete the process. MUST ATTEND ENTIRE EVENT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY.
