4th Annual Collaboration Awards Gala
Awarded by Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, the Collaboration Awards recognizes women in the arts and media who successfully collaborate across disciplines to create new and influential work. The Collaboration Awards Gala is a celebration of the awards and an evening to enable the public to meet and hear from industry-leading women about important contributions women are making in the many disciplines of media and the arts.

The 2013 winners are writer/actress Jane Edith Wilson and writer/filmmaker Grace Lee, for their political mockumentaty film Janeane from Des Moines. Wilson and Lee will give a short presentation and show excerpts from their award-winning film.
Awards will also be presented to Honored Finalist Silent Witnesses by Stephanie Satie and directed by Anita Khanzadian and Honorable Mention The Island of No Tomorrows by Fengar Gael and directed by Lorca Peress.
Keynote Speaker: Madeleine Smithberg (Emmy and Peabody Award-winning co-creator and executive producer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, current executive producer of Cyndi Lauper Still So Unusual).
To Attend: A limited number of tickets are being made available to the public. Ticket prices are: $20 for SAG-AFTRA members/$25 for non-members (early bird rate before October 10), $30 after October 10 and $35 at the door.
