The SAG-AFTRA New Orleans Local sends out love to all who were touched by this wonderful and classy lady and especially to her sisters Bobbi and Melanie…we are sorry for your loss. Posted on behalf of the Louisiana Film and Entertainment Association.

Yesterday the Senate Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Committee deferred HB 696 by Rep. Jack Montoucet. The committee did this at the request of Rep. Montoucet. While it does not mean that we are in the clear, it is a very large hurdle for us to cross. We will continue to be vigilant and watch for any legislation which would do harm to our industry.
