SAG-AFTRA New England’s Casting Director Cooperative program is an ongoing, cooperative venture for the mutual benefit of New England casting professionals and SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. This is an opportunity for casting professionals to become better acquainted with the wide variety of talent in the local SAG-AFTRA membership.
CP Casting is currently responsible for local principal casting for the NBC Television pilot Odyssey, which is filming in Boston in March. LDI Casting is currently responsible for local principal casting for a number of independent films shooting in Rhode Island this spring. Both companies expect to have more projects this spring and summer.
Three performers will be seen in each 15 minute block. Please have a one minute monologue prepared. This will not be taped and feedback will not be given. Performers will be in front of both casting directors simultaneously.
Registration is open to all paid up SAG-AFTRA New England Local members. Slots will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Twelve slots will be reserved for New England members who joined between January 2013 and now.
You must bring the following:
- two copies of your headshot and resume
- a prepared one-minute monologue
Submissions will be accepted between 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 and 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. Submissions received outside of this time frame will not be accepted.
