BookPALS Kickoff Event

BookPALS Kickoff Event
Start: 03/01/2014 - 11:00am
End: 03/01/2014 - 1:00pm

They’re back!

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation has reopened its official branch of BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) in New England, and they are excited to get performers reading again.

BookPALS are performer volunteers who share the magic of books by reading to children who attend underserved elementary schools in Boston and New England. They expose children to high quality literature and art through picture books to spread the love of books, the joy of reading, and the hope of literacy.

BookPALS generally read to the same classes weekly for one hour total, but situations are flexible. Please share with your friends: www.bookpals.net.
