Sight Singing Class Begins July 15, Registration Deadline, Tuesday, July 1

When: A six-week program beginning the week of July 15, 2014.

SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles is pleased to announce the next series of sight singing classes. These classes are geared toward professional singers and designed for learning to sing at sight. The sessions will cover reading music and performing what is on paper.

About Gerald White
Gerald White, current Chair of the LA Local and National Singers Committee, is a successful SAG-AFTRA session singer/player and a composer/arranger. His recent credits include The Voice, Glee, Oblivion, Family Guy, Spiderman, Men in Black 2, X-men 2, Matrix Reloaded, Polar Express, Happy Feet and License To Wed among others.
 
Cost: $95 for SAG-AFTRA and Equity members. No refunds after the first class for any reason.

Affordable Housing Opportunities Available!

Interested in applying for affordable housing? Applications are now available for Parcel M Grand Avenue Apartments in Downtown and One Santa Fe in the Arts District. Parcel M Grand Avenue Apartments will accept completed applications by mail; all applications must be postmarked by June 30.

One Santa Fe has just announced they will no longer accept applications on a first come first serve basis. They have reconsidered their policy and have decided to instead implement a lottery system. Applications will be accepted in person and by mail between June 16 and June 18.

There is no longer any advantage to lining up prior to 9 a.m. on June 16 to submit applications. Please see the flyer released by the management company for further details.
 
Please know that the Affordable Housing Partnership for Artists is in no way affiliated with the tenant selection process of One Santa Fe and this was a decision made by the management company.
