Help ensure Assembly Bill 1839: Expanded Film and Television Job Creation Act, becomes law.
Over the last 15 years film and television production has decreased in California. This decrease in film and TV work negatively affects the state and local economy. Not only are jobs and revenue lost for those working directly for the productions, but jobs and revenue are also lost for the businesses supporting productions - dry cleaners, chauffeurs, caterers and countless others.
Come to the rally where political leaders will join with small businesses that employ thousands who are in support of increasing film and television production in California. Hear from AB 1839 co-authors Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra and Assemblyman Mike Gatto.
You can make a change. Attend the small business rally kickoff and encourage lawmakers to increase tax credits to increase local jobs.
