You are Invited to Attend the SAG and AFTRA Joint Wages & Working Conditions Meeting on June 29 in Miami

ATTENTION ALL FLORIDA BRANCH MEMBERS

The Florida Branch will be conducting a Joint Wages & Working Conditions Meeting in preparation for the SAG TV/Theatrical and AFTRA Exhibit A Contract Negotiations. For details on W&W 2010, please visit either the Screen Actors Guild website SAG.org or the AFTRA website at AFTRA.com

Proposals for this important negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard, attend and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG and AFTRA members.

All proposal recommendations will be reviewed by the Joint Wages & Working Conditions Committee.

ATTENTION MEMBERS WHO ARE ACTIVELY PRODUCING: SAG and AFTRA members who are actively producing cannot attend the W&W Committee Meetings due to a conflict of interest. However, you are welcome to attend the evening W&W caucuses. Please check the union websites at SAG.org or at AFTRA.com for caucus dates and times.

DUES REMINDER: If you haven’t done so already, please pay your dues today. If you are not an active, paid-up member in good standing, you may not be able to vote in Guild elections or contract referenda or be eligible to serve on the council or committees. You also must be paid to date to register on iActor, the Guild’s online casting program, which is now being used by casting directors nationwide.
