SAG Members Receive a Discount to Scott Rogers Auditioning Clinic

With several films and commercials shooting in Central Florida, now is the time to work on your auditioning technique! Professional acting coach Scott Rogers will teach an audition clinic that focuses on the most common problems facing actors in auditions.

Class will consist of a lecture with Q&As followed by on-camera exercises and a mock audition that targets:

* Cold reading                                       * Learning Lines

* Slating                                               * Eyes – where to look

* What to wear during an audition           * Age questions – how to answer them

* Technique: Stage vs. Camera               * Active listening: how this gets you jobs

* Common Traps for actors                     * Monologues: what you need and why

* How to get an audition                        * Breaking down a script

Directions: From Orlando, take I-4 West to exit #68 toward Lake Buena Vista. Turn right onto S. Apopka Vineland Rd (SR 535) then a left onto Hotel Plaza Blvd. Turn right onto Buena Vista Drive. Hotel is on the right. The Knave/Scribe room is located on the lobby level of the convention area.

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the convention center lot.

About Scott Rogers

Scott Rogers served as an acting coach for 20th Century Fox Studios under a 3-year exclusive contract. Scott has coached principal actors on the sets of motion pictures and national television shows. He has produced, cast and/or directed more than 100 professional productions and dozens of TV commercials. He was the full-time, on-set, acting coach for the TV series’ North Shore and Baywatch. Scott's clients include series regular and principal actors on shows like LOST, Hawaii Five-0, Friday Night Lights, Cougar Town, ER and actors appearing in films such as Indiana Jones & the Crystal Skull, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbor, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Rundown, Tears of the Sun, Blue Crush, Lilo & Stich and many more.
