ProACT (Professional Actor Career Training)

Each month guest artists and experts present informational and hands-on training sessions for the professional actor. Workshops cover acting technique, voiceover acting, contract negotiation, industry expert panel discussions, as well as professional networking mixers. The AFTRA Foundation

The AFTRA Foundation is building for the future of performers, broadcasters, and recording artists.Founded by the AFTRA National Board of Directors in 1997 as a separate legal entity from the union, the AFTRA Foundation is a charitable and educational organization funded through tax-deductible voluntary contributions, grants, and bequests—not SAG-AFTRA member dues—to support projects outside the scope of normal activities of SAG-AFTRA, including charitable endeavors, special conferences, studies, seminars, and other events. The Screen Actors Guild Foundation

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation enhances the lives of members by investing in programs which help them in their professional endeavors. Their financial assistance, catastrophic health, educational and literacy programs reflect the concerns and interests of SAG-AFTRA members as well as their desire to "give back" to their communities. The Actors Fund

Texas Motion Picture Alliance

The Texas Motion Picture Alliance is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization located in Austin and founded in June 2006. TXMPA is an advocate for the film, video, commercial, interactive and digital media production industries in the Lone Star State. TXMPA is committed to building a strong community of industry professionals. It is charged with creating competitive economic incentives to present to the state legislature during sessions. TXMPA is also committed to educating the general public about media industry businesses and how they impact lives by pumping millions of dollars into the economy.
