The Austin Conservatory Script to Screen Team presents “Shady Creek” by Russell Gilwee. This LIVE read before an industry audience is the second in a series of professional script presentations for the Conservatory.

“The Script to Screen program is the perfect showcase for area members and a great opportunity for members to network with fellow creatives and potential employers,” says Pamela Weaver, Chair of the Conservatory.

“Shady Creek” is the story of a weekend furloughed prisoner who becomes acquainted with the son he has never met. Returning to the town of Shady Creek where he was convicted of a terrible crime, the daughter of the only witness to testify against him turns up dead and the son is the one who holds the keys to the prisoner’s absolution.
