The following announcement was sent to local filmmakers inviting them to attend a seminar on SAG-AFTRA’s Low Budget Agreements. How to Work with Professional Performers on your Ultra Low Budget Feature Films and Short Films

Learn how to how you can cast SAG-AFTRA performers in your projects! This workshop will show how you can afford to use professional actors in your low budget feature film and shorts.
Kathy Byrne, Director of TV/Theatrical, SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local, will show you that there’s a contract for every budget level. Did you know that feature films made for under $250,000 are covered under the SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget Agreement? Find out how easy it is to work with this contract. Learn about the simple agreements allowing filmmakers to use professional actors in short films and webisodes as well.
