The SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local is pleased to announce the beginning of the Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) process in preparation for negotiation of the commercials contracts that expire March 31, 2013. It is only through the involvement of members that proposals for this vital negotiation are developed.
What: Wages & Working Conditions Committee Meetings
These meetings use the information and ideas gathered from the caucuses to create proposals for the 2013 contract negotiations.
When: Noon - 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10 through Monday, Oct. 15
To serve on the W&W Conditions Committee, which will meet six times, you must be a paid-up SAG-AFTRA member in good standing.
Attention members who are management employees and who work in the interests of any employer in SAG-AFTRA’s jurisdiction:
SAG-AFTRA members who are management employees and who work in the interests of any employer in SAG-AFTRA’s jurisdiction cannot attend the W&W Committee Meetings due to conflict of interest. However, you are welcome to attend the W&W caucuses.

Parking provided at 10 East Ontario. Enter on the north side of Ontario between Wabash and State, then take a ticket. When you sign in, you will receive another ticket. You will need both tickets to exit the parking structure.
If you cannot attend, make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Wages and Working Conditions Committee will review all recommendations.
