Andrea Marcovicci was hailed as the “most Sinatra-like” of the new generation of cabaret performers by Life Magazine. She was described as “Torch singer, spellbinder, heart-breaker,” by People.

Singer and actor, Marcovicci began her career on the daytime television series Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. She debuted on Broadway in Ambassador, and last appeared in Any Given Day. Her film credits include The Front, The Hand, The Stuff, Spacehunter, The Canterville Ghost, Someone To Love, and Jack the Bear. Her many television appearances include Arli$$, Cybill, Taxi, Magnum P.I., Hill Street Blues, Trapper John, M.D., and Strong Medicine.

Marcovicci will be in Chicago to perform her cabaret act at Davenport’s, July 14 – 17. We are honored that she has taken the time out of her busy schedule to meet and talk about her amazing career with Chicago union performers.
