Invites You to the“SAG Diversity Acting Workshop” at the 2010 South Dakota Film Festival
Screen Actors Guild Affirmative Action & Diversity department and the SAG President’s National Task Force for American Indians, bring together a distinguished team of industry professionals to present the “SAG Diversity Acting Workshop” at this year’s South Dakota Film Festival.
This interactive workshop is designed to develop the business of acting and the acting skills of new actors. It will begin with a discussion of practical issues (resumes, headshots, reels, representation, audition tapes, performer unions etc.) followed by a demonstration of audition techniques. The program will conclude ith guidance and advice from the panelist on how to apply these new skills.

Cost: Ticket prices start at $10. SAG members receive a 50% discount on all tickets and passes. Purchases must be made no later than midnight (CT) on Friday, September 3, 2010. RSVP: No RSVP is necessary for this event but seating is limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The SAG Diversity Acting Workshop is open to all Festival and Education class pass holders . If available, open seats will be offered to the general public at five minutes before the workshop begins.
