Producer Gideon Amir is currently in production on the highly anticipated new Marc Cherry series Devious Maids. This innovative show will premiere on Lifetime Television in 2013.

Gideon has worked in long form and features in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, New Zealand, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
He has worked for ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Showtime, A&E, TNT, USA, Lifetime and more and his productions include many Emmy-nominated movies of the week and made for television movies.
As an executive, Gideon was Senior VP In Charge of Production at Hearst Entertainment, and Head of Production at Sony Pictures TV - Movies & Miniseries. During his years as an executive he has put over 30 movies and miniseries into production in the US and around the world. His recent work includes ABC's action/drama TV series Missing.
