    Brett J Rosenberg was born in Chicago Illinois. He began working both on camera and in production at a young age. He studied acting at Second City and at Steppenwolf Theatre's Master program.
    In 2007 he built the production company Rope Trick Productions, and optioned the rights to make Jack Neary's play Jerry Finnegan's Sister into a feature.
    In 2008 he was cast as the lead actor in the film A Tale of a Suicidal Narcoleptic; of which he was nominated best leading actor in a dramatic feature in the 2008 Action on Film Festival.
    In 2011 Brett made his directorial debut with his documentary film A.K.A. Private. A film which explores Hollywood fame seekers. A.K.A. Private is currently distributed by Taylor & Dodge and after its Video On Demand run in late 2013 is now being released on iTunes and Hulu Plus.
    In 2012 Brett was cast as the lead actor in the found footage horror film Evidence. The film was a cult hit and Brett was noted in the Hollywood Reporter to have a powerful screen presence. Evidence can be found on DVD via Osiris Entertainment.
    Brett wrote and starred in the short film Handwriting on the Wall which screened at the 2013 Los Angeles Indie Film Festival.
    He studied screenwriting with Robbie Fox, and on camera preforming with Amy Lyndon.
    Brett lives in Los Angeles CA and is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
