On July 11, 2015, your SAG-AFTRA National Board overwhelmingly approved and recommended a YES vote for the tentative agreement reached with the record industry. Eligible SAG-AFTRA members will now vote on the proposed successor agreement covering sound recordings.

On August 20, 2015, the ballot tabulation of the Los Angeles Local election was conducted.
In addition, the following candidates ran unopposed and are deemed elected without the necessity of a balloted election:

Jane Austin Elected Secretary-Treasurer
SAG-AFTRA members have elected two of the union’s top ranking officers, choosing Ken Howard as president and Jane Austin as secretary-treasurer. Their two-year terms begin today.
Attention all members: SAG-AFTRA has rescinded its “no contract/no work” order regarding the series Comedians of LA and Living with Funny.
SAG-AFTRA has signed a collective bargaining agreement with the production company Comedians of LA Productions to cover Comedians of LA and SAG-AFTRA is not asserting jurisdiction of Living with Funny.
