Dear AFTRA Member:
Happy New Year! AFTRA members had many achievements to celebrate in 2010, and we have much to prepare for in 2011. Change is happening fast around us – in our industries, our communities and our personal lives – and through our union, AFTRA, we have the chance to take action and help shape our collective future.
The SAG National Board of Directors is urging all SAG members to support U.S. troops deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq this holiday season by making tax-deductible contributions to Project: Hollwyood Cares to provide soldiers with global pre-paid calling cards to help them call home this holiday season. In that spirit, many board members have already made personal contributions to support the effort.
SAG members, tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 16, is the deadline for paying your November 2010 dues if you want to be eligible to vote for the SAG Awards and receive any “For Your Consideration” screenings and mailings available to the eligible voting membership. If you’ve moved, you must update your address with the SAG Membership Department by the same deadline date. If you have not yet paid your dues, log in to your member account on SAG.org and pay your dues online today.
