The second annual Produced By Conference is coming up and will be held at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles June 4-6. The conference is selling out but SAG members can register online and save $400.
PHILADELPHIA (May 24, 2010) — The SAG Philadelphia Branch is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, which will be marked today with a mayoral reception at Philadelphia City Hall attended by both SAG President Ken Howard and Philadelphia Branch President Tom McCarthy.
McCarthy will also be recognized for his more than 30 years of service to SAG as Branch president. He will retire at the end of his term in September.
Washington, D.C. (May 23, 2010) — The nation’s top union leader, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, addressed leaders from the Screen Actors Guild Regional Branch Division (RBD) at their annual board meeting Saturday in Washington, D.C. The RBD includes 20 Branches spanning from Boston to Hawaii. Nearly 28,000 Screen Actors Guild members who work in film and television live in the regional branches.
May 20, 2010 (Washington, D.C.) — AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will address Screen Actors Guild Regional Branch Division leaders at its annual board meeting in Washington, D.C. this Saturday. The guest speaker will be introduced by SAG President Ken Howard and SAG 3rd National Vice President David Hartley-Margolin.
President Howard sits on the AFL-CIO Executive Council where he concentrates on issues that affect the Guild, the Associated Actors and Artistes of America, professional employees and the entertainment and media industries.
