SAG and AFTRA members be advised that the W&W committee meeting scheduled in Los Angeles for Monday, June 21, 2010 has been cancelled.
The Hollywood W&W Joint Committee of SAG and AFTRA will reconvene at the next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the AFTRA Frank Maxwell Board Room where participants will view a presentation on the Entertainment Industry Landscape.
Join your fellow SAG members in Los Angeles on Friday night at a screening of the award-winning documentary A Place to Live, followed by a Q&A with the producers and director — as well as an appearance by the subjects of the film itself.
The Actors Fund held its 14th annual Tony Awards party at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles on June 13, with Broadway superstar Tommy Tune serving as host. SAG President Ken Howard attended the event along with SAG National Board Members Adam Arkin, Jeff Austin, Scott Bakula, L Scott Caldwell and Pamela Reed, as well as SAG Hollywood Executive Director Ilyanne Morden Kichaven and Communications Executive Director Pamela Greenwalt.
Actor RJ Mitte, a star of the AMC series Breaking Bad, hosted an event in Hollywood on Monday in honor of the Tri-Union I AM PWD — Inclusion in the Arts & Media of People with Disabilities — campaign. The cocktail reception also highlighted Mitte’s bid for an Emmy nomination this year and was attended by his Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, actor Daryl “Chill” Mitchell (Brothers) and many other actors involved with the I AM PWD campaign.

The Producers Guild of America’s annual Produced By Conference, which was held June 4-6 this year on the 20th Century Fox lot, brought out some of the biggest names in the industry for the opportunity to do just that.
