Award-Winning Actor Reads in Support of Children’s Literacy
Los Angeles (May 5, 2011) – SAG Foundation proudly announces the launch of Storyline Online’s newest project, a filmed reading of Marcus Pfister’s classic children’s book The Rainbow Fish, by SAG Life Achievement Award recipient Ernest Borgnine. The event, Phylicia Rashad – A Woman of Distinction: Her Story, was organized by the SAG National Women’s Committee and the SAG Foundation and took place at SAG Headquarters in Los Angeles. Carrying herself with a rare grace, humility and a serene charisma, Rashad charmed the capacity audience with tales of a remarkable life and a deep love of acting and the arts.
