White, national executive director of Screen Actors Guild, along with a number of labor allies from various industries, met with Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and Undersecretary for International Affairs Sandra Polaski today at Department of Labor headquarters in Washington, D.C.
White and various labor leaders met with the Secretary for several hours to discuss a host of labor issues in advance of the upcoming G20 meeting and an international gathering of labor ministers related to the summit.

Following a passionate speech by IATSE President Matthew Loeb and joined by AFTRA President Roberta Reardon, Howard spoke to the assembled labor leaders about the threat posed by illegal downloads, pirated CDs and DVDs and other modes of entertainment product copyright theft.
