SAG Board Appoints President Ken Howard Chair of SAG's TV/Theatrical Joint W&W Conditions and Negotiating Committees
Los Angeles, (April 18, 2010) - Screen Actors Guild National Board of Directors, meeting in a two-day plenary in Los Angeles, appointed President Ken Howard as Chair of the Guild's TV/Theatrical Joint Wages and Working (W&W) Conditions Plenary and Negotiating Committees.
Approved unanimously, the action states:
Screen Actors Guild Loses Much Loved Lucky Hayes
Lucky Hayes, a long time Arizona Branch President and current Vice President Northern Arizona, passed away on April 9, 2010. Known and loved by hundreds all over the country, Lucky served in leadership roles in the Guild since 1992, first as Arizona Secretary/Treasurer and then as Vice President Northern Arizona, before being elected Arizona Branch President in 1995, a position she occupied until September 2009. She carried her SAG card proudly since joining in 1974.

Los Angeles (April 9, 2010) — The SAG Film Society is where actors go to see actors on the big screen - and the 2010/11 season kicks off with a bang in May with member screenings in Hollywood of soon-to-be summer blockbusters. The first four scheduled films of the screening series will be Iron Man 2, Sex & the City 2, Robin Hood and Shrek Forever After in 3D. And that's just the beginning!
