Danny played an instrumental role in the union as a member of the Performers With Disabilities (PWD) Committee as well as a founding member of the then-tri-union global campaign I AM PWD (Inclusion in the Arts & Media of People with Disabilities).

SAG-AFTRA has issued a "no-contract, no-work" order for the first-run syndicated program Laughs, produced by Half Life Productions and Executive Producer Steve Hofstetter. This company has not yet executed a minimum basic agreement with SAG-AFTRA.
We are pleased to announce that last night we reached a tentative agreement in our TV/Theatrical Contract negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
Thousands of SAG-AFTRA members are working journalists and they need to know that they will not be compelled to reveal the confidential sources they depend on to cover important news stories. Without a federal shield law, reporters face dire penalties, including imprisonment and/or severe fines, for upholding their professional code of ethics to report news in the public interest.
In recognition of the July 4th holiday, SAG-AFTRA offices will be closed on Friday, July 4. Offices will re-open on Monday, July 7.

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 29, 2014) –– Yesterday, a federal court judge dismissed the remainder of a lawsuit against SAG-AFTRA filed by Ed Asner. In his order, United States District Court Judge Manuel L. Real found the court had no jurisdiction over the case because Asner has provided no evidence of the union withholding records that he or any other member of the union have access to review.
Due to inclement weather in the Chicago and Ohio-Pittsburgh area, the SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local and Ohio-Pittsburgh Local offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Chicago Local's Kaufherr Members Resource Center (KMRC) will also be closed.
