Screen Actors Guild Reaches Tentative Agreements for Successor Contracts to the Basic Cable Live Action, Basic Cable Animation and TV Animation Contracts
Screen Actors Guild today announced that tentative agreements were reached on Wednesday, November 10, on new, three-year contracts covering basic cable live action, basic cable animation and television animation productions.
The current contracts expire on June 30, 2011, and the new three-year agreement will be effective from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2014.
LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK (Sept. 12, 2010) – The Joint National Board of Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA, AFL-CIO) today met by videoconference plenary in Los Angeles and New York and approved a package of proposals for the upcoming Joint AFTRA Exhibit A and SAG TV/Theatrical Negotiations.

All paid-up SAG and AFTRA members who appeared in Television Series made prior to July 1974 on shows produced in the 1950s (such as Maverick), 60s (such as Bewitched) and the 70s (such as The Brady Bunch), are invited to an important caucus Wednesday, July 21, 2010 to discuss the New Media streaming of TV series made prior to July 1974.
