SAG-AFTRA Members Ratify Network Television Code

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 9, 2015) — Members of SAG-AFTRA today voted to ratify the 2014 SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting (Network Television Code). The vote was 96.5 percent in favor of the new contract.

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 12, 2014) — The SAG-AFTRA National Board, meeting this weekend in a face-to-face plenary in Los Angeles, extended David White’s role as National Executive Director and authorized a new four-year contract in that capacity, expiring Oct. 12, 2018. Details of the agreement are confidential and were not disclosed.

New SAG-AFTRA Tentative Agreements Go to Members for Vote

LOS ANGELES (July 23, 2014) — SAG-AFTRA is mailing voting informational cards to approximately 137,000 members today as part of the ratification process for the recently negotiated TV/Theatrical contracts. The joint referendum requires a vote on the proposed pacts, the 2014 SAG-AFTRA Television Agreement and the 2014 SAG-AFTRA Codified Basic Agreement, covering motion pictures, scripted primetime dramatic television and new media production.
