SAG New Media and NATPE have partnered to provide Screen Actors Guild members a special registration discount to the three-day NATPE Market & Conference, the only American program market serving the worldwide television community. Held annually, this year's conference will take place at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami FL, January 23–25.
SAG members are invited to join the SAG Hollywood Conservatory Committee for an open house as the Conservatory rings in its 40th anniversary. The Conservatory program offers a low-cost opportunity for members to hone and develop their craft through classes, workshops and symposia - all on the AFI campus. Conservatory members are also eligible to be cast in AFI films.
SAG New Media is kicking off a series of monthly workshops to educate active and budding producers on how to best utilize the SAG New Media Agreement for their projects.
New Media business representatives will explain the terms of the agreement and walk attendees through the signatory process live on-screen using the SAG Production Center.
This class is open to those interested in producing entertainment content in new media.

As many as 2,000 SAG members and producers tuned in via a live online stream on Wednesday to learn details of the new SAG Production Center, which allows producers to download forms and rate sheets, and in many instances sign online, saving substantial time and avoiding the headaches of the paper-based manual approach.
