ANNOUNCEMENT OF NOMINATIONS TO BE TELECAST LIVE ON TNT AND E! ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION

ON JANUARY 11, 2005

Los Angeles (December 9, 2004) - Rosario Dawson, currently starring in the Oliver Stone epic Alexander and Dennis Franz, a three-time SAG Award recipient and fourteen-time nominee for NYPD Blue, will join Screen Actors Guild President Melissa Gilbert to announce the nominees for the 11th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, Executive Producer Jeff Margolis announced today.

The SAG Awards® nominations will be revealed at 6:20 a.m. PT on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in the SilverScreen Theater at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. The nominations announcement will be telecast live on Turner Network Television (TNT) and on E! Entertainment Television's one-hour SAG Awards® Nominations special.

The 11th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, the only industry accolades devoted solely to actors honoring actors, will be telecast live on TNT on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. Central, 6 p.m. MT, from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.

Rosario Dawson is currently burning up the screen as Roxanne, wife of Alexander the Great (Colin Farrell), in Oliver Stone's Alexander. Noted for her work in such recent films as The Rundown, Shattered Glass , 25th Hour, This Girl's Life, Men in Black 2, He Got Game and Sidewalks of New York, Dawson next stars in the Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller film noir drama Sin City and as tragic heroine Mimi Valdez in the film adaptation of the famed Broadway musical Rent.

Dennis Franz is a three-time Screen Actors Guild Award® recipient and fourteen-time nominee for his portrayal of Detective Andy Sipowicz on NYPD Blue. He received Actor® nominations individually every year from 1995 to 2002 and as a member of the NYPD Blue cast from 1995 to 2000. He was honored by SAG for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series in 1995 and 1997, and for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 1995. Franz has earned four Emmy Awards, five Best Actor awards from Viewers for Quality Television and a 1994 Golden Globe Award for his role on NYPD Blue, which is in its twelfth and final season on ABC.

Secret ballots bearing the names of potential nominees for outstanding performances during 2004, in eight television and five motion picture categories including the unique ensemble awards, will be mailed on Friday, December 10, 2004 to the film and television nominating panels, each comprised of 2100 randomly-selected SAG members from across the United States. The ballots will be returned by Friday, January 7, 2005, directly to Integrity Voting Systems, the Awards' official elections teller.
