Celebrating Women’s History Month
Filed in:

SAG-AFTRA joins in celebrating Women’s History Month throughout the month of March. The national chairs of the SAG-AFTRA Women’s Committee encourage everyone to do something this month that moves the world closer towards gender inclusivity.

Notable this month is Wednesday, March 8, International Women’s Day, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. And the last Saturday of March is Support Women Artists Now (SWAN) Day, a day to honor, salute and commend women artists.

Here are some upcoming SAG-AFTRA Women’s Committee events:
New York - NY Women in Film and Television Screening and Reception for Girl from God’s Country
Philadelphia - Philadelphia Women’s Film Festival
Washington DC - Women in Film Virginia SWAN Day Table Read
Denver - Colorado Women Plus Film Festival

…and check back for updates on the EEO and Diversity Events page for new programs coming to your area.
