The SAG-AFTRA Seattle Local will be hosting “Every Artist Insured: Helping You Find Affordable Health Insurance.” This event is for members that may have questions or need help enrolling in a health care plan. The workshop will cover the following:

• Affordable Care Act options and requirements
• How to get affordable health insurance with the help of federal subsidies
• Walking through the enrollment process

We invite new, experienced, and pre-union members to a discussion about racism with a panel of professionals including long time civil rights activist and guest Bill Fletcher Jr.

SAG-AFTRA is pleased to announce the beginning of the TV/Theatrical Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) process in preparation for negotiation of the TV/Theatrical Contracts that expire June 30, 2017. W&W Committee meetings will begin nationwide on Oct. 24.

Please join the SAG-AFTRA Seattle Conservatory for this important workshop covering stunt and on-set safety. Moderated by Seattle Conservatory Chair Ashley Cozine, the panel features members/stunt performers Tony Becerra (Journeyquest, Z-Nation), and Peter Tiemann (Z-Nation), who will provide valuable information, tips and answer questions.

The SAG-AFTRA Seattle Local Board has created a local Military Personnel & Families Support Committee. Please join us as a veteran, active-duty or military family member for our next meeting. There will be light refreshments.
