It is with great sadness that SAG-AFTRA Seattle announces the passing of our union sister, broadcaster Kathi Goertzen.

Kathi was a significant presence in Seattle and the Northwest, representing journalism at its finest. Kathi’s membership in SAG-AFTRA and its predecessor AFTRA dates back to 1981. We will all miss her, and our thoughts and support go out to her family and her KOMO TV family. The newsroom will be a little less bright now that this lovely light has gone out.
