Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic in the United States. Bilingual, bicultural, second-generation and third-generation Hispanics have seized the imagination of advertisers, distributors, producers and content providers, creating an explosion in Latino media. 

All broadcasters and entertainers are invited to participate in the National Education Association’s “Read Across America” annual reading motivation and awareness program by volunteering to read to children in the Southeast Delco School District on Monday, Mar. 3 to celebrate the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is now accepting submissions from all states east of the Mississippi for its February 2014 Shorts Showcase – a program now in its fourth year.
The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. All entries received after that date will be placed in contention for the June 2014 event.
Web series produced under a union contract are also eligible for consideration.
