What does the future hold for Latinas in the media? With more Latina actresses taking on leading roles in prime time television, films, and magazine covers, the portrayal of Hispanic women has come a long way in the last decade. SAG members Olga Segura and Olga Merediz, producer and publicist Soldanela Rivera, producer Elizabeth Avellan and scholar Dr. Clara Rodriguez (Fordham University), discuss the role of Latinas in the media and how it has changed throughout the years.
