Featuring Special Guests SAG 3rd National Vice President David Hartley-Margolin and AFTRA National Treasurer Matt Kimbrough!

All paid-up SAG and AFTRA members in good standing are urged to attend one of these two important educational/informational meetings being presented in New Mexico to learn the facts and impact of the merger.

This workshop is geared to open your minds to ‘the other side of the table.’
How are you first introduced into the casting process?
What are your tools of the trade?
What control can you take of your career?
How can local actors help grow the industry in New Mexico?

These are just a few of the questions New Mexico SAG members need to look at in their business of acting.

The Albuquerque Film Festival is the place to be for filmmakers and movie buffs this weekend. SAG West Region Executive, Tamara Decker will participate in a panel discussion on Saturday, encouraging filmmakers to explore SAG’s low budget contracts (http://holdmyticket.com/event/27715).

Dress up or down, walk the red carpet, and mingle with your colleagues in the industry.

Feel free to share this invite with others you may know who work in the New Mexico film and media industry.

This is experiential work that explores how the inner process of the actor connects to the flow and shape of dramatic action in a scene. The main focus is on the element of choice, and how experiencing the choices of the character can lead to transformation. Wear comfortable clothes; no advance preparation is needed.

Since the work is sequential in nature, latecomers cannot be admitted and there can be no coming and going during the session, though there will be a bathroom break.
